This presentation focuses on the holistic care that hospice offers. Two well-qualified professionals discuss: Who pays for hospice? Where do I receive hospice care? How does one qualify? What can I expect from a hospice team?
These teams provide medical, emotional, palliative care, education and guidance to children and adults faced with the challenges associated from a life-limiting illness, as they restore hope and support to grieving children and adults who are feeling lost and alone.
Sharon Lao, M.Div., is a board-certified counselor with 16 years of hospice chaplaincy experience and Gin Lao, M.Div., is a counselor/chaplain with seven years of hospice experience.
